This will be Lorna’s first performance on the SOS Café’s front porch. Lorna, a well-known country singer now living in the Jacksonville area, songwriter and musician who earned these titles during her life-long show-business career. Lorna has co-written a three-act musical, co-produced her own music video “This Old Kitchen Table” which received exposure on TV. She also worked as a jingle and demo singer, writer and producer and during her 20 years in Nashville where she became a key part of The New Vic Willis Trio, performing weekends on WSM’s historic Grand Ole Opry show. In 1989 Lorna began touring internationally for eight years with RCA/BMG recording artist Roger Whittaker as a featured violinist and vocalist. She was featured in Roger’s Celebration Concert on PBS television stations. On Nov. 19, this country singer, fiddler and teacher of many upcoming young artists in North Florida, will entertain you Nashville style!
Bringing great country music Nov. 20 will be local country artist Sarah Trimm. Sarah is a long-time country artist who performs all over North Florida and has performed at the SOSMP several times. Sarah is a cowgirl at heart, lives on their farm she and her husband operate and are raising their precious baby girl to love country also. Don’t miss this great country artist with her first appearance on the SOSMP front porch! You will definitely want to hear more from Sarah Trim!
Live performances are presented every Friday and Saturday evening from 7-10 p.m. on the front porch where you may also enjoy delicious food prepared by our SOS Café employees.
