Hot Works produces award-winning fine art and fine craft shows and Institute for the Arts & Education is the associated 501c3 non-profit organization with focuses on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment and fostering art education among youth.
Since 2003, Hot Works has produced top-notch fine art and fine craft shows in Michigan and Florida and has established a national outstanding reputation with three shows voted in the top 100 art shows in America – out of several thousand other shows. All art is original and personally handmade by the artist who is present at the show, which is juried by art professionals who have an art education and/or experience with art shows. Our focus is quality, not quantity. There is something for everyone, in all price ranges – as especially new collectors are important to build. If you are looking to reach a patron with money to spend on ‘Luxury’ items, this is the show for you.

As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, each show integrates a Youth Art Competition for grades K-8 or grades 6-12, depending on the event. Produced by Institute for the Arts & Education, we reach out to the local school art teachers and encourage students to enter their original and personally handmade art that is publicly displayed in the art show all weekend. The unique and one-of-a-kind program exposes students to the entrepreneurship of doing art shows for a living, and brings families to the art show who may not have otherwise attended, and exposes them to great art. We are looking for a sponsor for this area.
All Hot Works shows have a major media campaign to bring affluent patrons to purchase high quality art. Broadcast TV, radio, print, digital marketing (including Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook & Instagram), postcards and posters help get the word out – but each show has its own design within the communities.
