2021 South West Florida Regional Blues Challenge winner, 2019 South Florida Regional Blues Challenge winner, New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, and two time International Blues Challenge semi-finalist. Ross plays rockin' blues & hipster jazz, and has played with some of the biggest names in the music business. Johnny Winter recorded one of Ross' songs, and Ross recorded with Big Joe Turner.
Robert Ross is an award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, slide guitarist, and harmonica player. The media says, "Robert Ross is a blues icon. One of the great blues spirits".
In March 2022 Ross was the subject of a 2000 word article in The Village Voice.
