When he returned to Florida, he opened a new chapter and turned up the Blues with the late great, David Shelley in Bluestone. Bluestone won South Florida Blues Challenge 3 times. Competed in the International Blues Competition in Memphis, making the semi-finals (top ~30) twice and the finals (top 8). Dave Scott & the Reckless Shots won the Treasures Coast Blues Challenge and competed in the International Blues Competition in Memphis and made it to the Semi-finals.
