Description
Come share in the festivities of the 4th Annual Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival on January 18-20, 2019 on Gulf Stream near JD Hamel Park in downtown Sarasota. Bring family and friends to enjoy fresh seafood and outstanding live musical performances.  The event begins Friday night January 18 with festivities running 4pm - 10pm. The event continues Saturday from 11am - 10pm and Sunday 11am - 6pm.  General admission is FREE!

This event will offer a variety of seafood items, cooked fresh on site, all prepared fresh onsite using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Also available will be meat and vegetarian offerings, along with a diverse menu of side dishes and of course - no meal is complete without a tantalizing dessert!  Alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks are available.  In the breaks between performances, explore shopping in a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.

While savoring your meal, relax to some of Florida’s top musical groups from genres such as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Performers and the Performance Schedule will be posted on the website as the event nears. Musicians performing at the 2019 event included: the Freecoasters (reggae, soul), Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul), the US Stones (Rolling Stones Tribute Band), Kettle of Fish (rock), CeCe Teneal & Soul Kamotion (blues, soul, roots), Reverend Barry & The Funk (funk, soul), the Bob Marley Tribute Band featuring Yvad, former lead singer of the Wailers (reggae), Endless Summer (Beach Boys Tribute Band), the Sarasota Steel Pan Band (calypso, reggae, Latin, Brazilian), Big Night Out (Latin funk, Motown, R&B dance music), Billy Rice Band (country rock), and the Caribbean Chillers (Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band).

While at the event, the Humane Society will have their "Big Mac" mobile adoption center onsite. Please take a few moments to stop by and say “hi” to the dedicated staff and meet their extended family of friends awaiting adoption.  Find a new companion and lend support to a wonderful and compassionate organization.

Some come enjoy, relax and leave refreshed. We will lay the table, all you need do is come and partake!
