Join Orchestra Miami as we perform three spectacular FREE outdoor concerts in Miami Beach, Pinecrest and Sunny Isles Beach. This year’s program includes one of Beethoven’s most beautiful yet least performed pieces, the Symphony N. 4 in B Flat Major, Op. 60 and his dramatic “Coriolan” Overture. Our special guest soloist is internationally acclaimed soloist, orchestra musician and professor, violist Richard Fleischman, who will perform Bruch’s lush “Romanze” for Viola and Orchestra and Telemann’s Concerto for Viola in G Major. The 38 musicians of Orchestra Miami will be conducted by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi.
· Friday, March 9, 2018; 8:00 PM at the Pinecrest Gardens “Banyan Bowl” (11000 SW 57 Avenue) in Pinecrest- gates open at 7:30 PM. Free parking available on-site. Snacks and drinks available for purchase- please no picnics. Suggested donation of $10 per person requested, but not mandatory for admission.
· Saturday, March 10, 2018; 8:00 PM at the North Beach Bandshell, located at 7275 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. Bleacher seating available, but you may also bring your own lawnchair. Picnicking welcome! Beverages available for purchase. Free municipal parking available in the lot on the west side of Collins Avenue between 72nd & 73rd streets (free after 6 PM). Suggested donation of $10 per person requested, but not mandatory for admission.
· Sunday, March 13, 2018; 6:00 PM at Gateway Park (151 Sunny Isles Beach Boulevard, SIB, 33160) in Sunny Isles Beach – limited seating available, please bring lawnchairs/blankets. Concessions will be available, or bring your own picnic. Play area for kids available. Free parking in the Gateway Park garage. The SIB Shuttle also provides free transportation within city limits- call (305) 792-1706 for shuttle info.
